The apartment has one large double bedroom, a living room with sleeping alcove and a sofa bed, a kitchen and bathroom with shower. The water throughout is heated by solar power.
About Naxos
Naxos is the largest and most beautiful of the Cyclades group of islands in the Aegean Sea. In addition to the unique Venetian Kastro where the house is situated, it has superb white sand beaches (excellent for wind-surfing and sailing, or just for swimming and sunbathing); the interior of the island is full of picturesque villages and spectacular views. It is particularly recommended for walking. Naxos has the highest mountains in the Cyclades. Thanks to the Meltemi (the Greek Mistral), there is nearly always a breeze, which prevents the summer months being too hot.
Getting Here
Flights to Athens (EasyJet or Aegean Airlines offer good value from the UK) and then either a domestic flight from E. Venizelos airport (book these flights in good time) or a ferry from Piraeus (fast 3½ hours, slow 5 hours).
